Our custom non-standard nuts are specifically engineered to meet the unique needs of industries that require specialized fastening solutions. Designed to accommodate non-traditional sizes, shapes, and materials, these custom non-standard nuts provide tailored solutions for applications where standard nuts simply won’t fit. Manufactured with precision and attention to detail, our nuts offer exceptional strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. As a result, they ensure a reliable and long-lasting connection, even in challenging conditions. Whether you’re working in automotive, aerospace, construction, or any other field, our custom non-standard nuts are crafted to exact specifications, providing the perfect fit for your project requirements. With high-quality materials and rigorous quality control, you can trust our nuts to perform reliably even in the most demanding environments. We also offer flexible design options to meet your specific needs, ensuring that your fastening requirements are always met with the highest standards of performance.
Material Selection
Aerospace nuts are made from certified high-performance materials such as:
- A286 stainless steel
- Inconel
- Titanium alloys
Aluminum alloys (7075, 2024)
These materials are carefully selected not only for their strength and corrosion resistance but also for their exceptional performance in extreme environments, ensuring reliability and durability in demanding conditions. Consequently, they ensure optimal durability and reliability in even the most demanding applications.
Blanking / Cutting
Raw material is cut or blanked into precise dimensions, ensuring consistency and accuracy, and is then ready for forging or machining to meet specific requirements.
Cold or Hot Forging / CNC Machining
Depending on size and design:
- Cold forging is used for high-volume production of smaller nuts.
- Обработка с ЧПУ is used for complex, tight-tolerance aerospace components.
- Hot forging may be used for harder materials like Inconel.
Threading
Internal threads are precisely formed using tapping or thread rolling techniques, thereby ensuring compliance with aerospace thread standards such as UNJF, MJ, and others, which guarantees the threads meet the required specifications for optimal performance.
Heat Treatment
Aerospace nuts undergo heat treatment, which significantly improves their strength, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of aerospace applications.
Surface Treatment
Specialized surface finishes are applied to prevent corrosion and meet aerospace specifications:
- Cadmium plating
- Passivation (for stainless steel)
- Anodizing (for aluminum)
- Dry film lubricant coatings
- Zinc-nickel or phosphate coatings
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
The process includes methods such as dye penetrant testing, magnetic particle inspection, or eddy current testing, which work together to detect both surface and sub-surface flaws, ensuring the highest quality and reliability.
Precision Inspection & Certification
To meet aerospace tolerances, we inspect all nuts using CMMs, thread gauges, and torque testing. Additionally, our certification includes:
- Material certificates
- First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)
- Lot traceability and compliance documents
Cleanroom Packaging
Final products are cleaned, packed in controlled environments, and labeled with full traceability according to aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
